Better than greetings: a 2025 retrospective that gives you wings!
To kick off 2026 in the best possible way, the entire SolarStratos team is pleased to present its traditional retrospective video of an extraordinary year. A three-minute summary full of energy, directed by Stéphane Chopard, culminating in a message from Raphaël Domjan.
From ground tests with the new propeller to fine-tuning flights, including an unprecedented challenge against the electric truck of our partner Planzer, the past twelve months have been intense and full of valuable lessons. The highlight was the record-breaking flight on August 12, which made HB-SXA the solar-electric aircraft that has reached the highest altitude in history. This major milestone is told in Stéphane Chopard’s film Chasing the Dream, premiered on November 20 and already broadcast on Canal+ Docs.
