Hélène Pichon

The Franco-Swiss Hélène PICHON holds a DEA in Political Science in English from the Sorbonne PARIS IV obtained in partnership with the London School of Economics (LSE) and is a former student of Hypokhâgne and Khâgne at the Lycée Louis le Grand.

Her diplomatic career took her successively to Lebanon, to the UN in Geneva for the Republic of Korea, then to Bahrain; she directed the French Alliance of Cork in Ireland, European Capital of Culture, and led its French Film Festival. In January 2011, she joined the Centre d’Etude et de Prospective Stratégique (CEPS), an INGO with participatory status with the Council of Europe, UNESCO, the OECD, the OIF and the European Commission, as Director of Relations with Institutions. She was appointed Director of the French Alliance in The Hague and coordinator of the network of French Alliances in the Netherlands by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in September 2022. She has been a Colonel in the French Air Force Reserve since 2012.

She was a Member of the Board of Directors of the International Women’s Forum from 2019 to 2021; She is an Ambassador of the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Foundation for Youth, and Vice President of the Robert Schuman Institute for Europe for the English-speaking world. She has taught at the School of Art and Culture. She is the General Secretary of the SDGS Champions Association since June 2021.
