Benoit Douxchamps is our flight test engineer. Trained in Belgium, the USA, and France, he has 25 years of experience in flight tests on more than 50 different aircraft, from small propeller planes to larger jets. He also learned to fly, first on gliders, before obtaining his ultralight pilot license. In recent years, he has been interested in decarbonized aviation projects, and in particular electric propulsion. He notably brings to Solarstratos his expertise in the field of performance and aeroelasticity tests. When he’s not flying, you can find this travelling enthusiast hiking in the mountains, a sport he discovered very early on in our Wallis!
